Venue of Boao Forum for Asia

The venue of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) stands close to the Wanquan River in Qionghai city and was the location of the historic moment of the establishment of the Boao Forum for Asia and the first BFA conference. Built in a milky white tapered shape, the venue looks tall, straight and dynamic, and presents a unique architectural style.

Boao Dongyu Island Hot Spring

The Boao Dongyu Island Hot Spring integrates various functions of hot spring physiotherapy, rehabilitation, beauty, health, and leisure. It is the only island and coastal hot spring in China, and also one of the most complete and advanced hot springs in Asia. The hot spring covers a total area of 78,000 square meters and the water temperature is up to 73 C. As a sodium oxide modified hot spring, it is rich in metasilicic acid, strontium, radon and other precious medical mineral elements, and has a daily hot spring volume as high as 78,000 tons.

Baishi Ridge Scenic Area in Jiaji town, Qionghai city

The Baishi Ridge Scenic Area is located 12 kilometers southwest of Qionghai city. It covers an area of around 16.24 square kilometers and consists of mountains and ridges. The Denggao Ridge, which measures 328 meters above sea level, has the highest peak in the scenic area. Its shape changes viewed from different angles as it features jagged, grotesque rocks and deep caves. When rain and mist linger, the mountain peak flickers in and out. Climbing along the 1,308 stone steps to the top of the Denggao Ridge, travelers can see the eight differing sceneries of Baishi Ridge and enjoy a spectacular view of the Wanquan River.
